Our Spirituality

Spirituality

Reaching Out

We reach beyond the walls of All God’s Children MCC reflecting our church’s values to celebrate and strengthening our diverse communities here in Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Sharing Our Gifts

We educate and support the community while affirming our LGBTQ identity. We do this by supporting a range of organizations [Do Unto Others (DUO) Fund recipients] and by providing action opportunities for our congregation through volunteer work. See some of our community partners here.

Pride

Since the early 90’s, AGC MCC has been an active participant in Twin Cities Pride. Our church shows our LGBTQ pride during the parade and the Pride Festival in Loring Park. AGC also hosts several events within our walls, including our Pride Month bible study: The Bible and Homosexuality. Make sure you stop by our booth in Loring Park during Twin Cities Pride and say hello!

Red Ribbon Ride

Fund raising, volunteering to riding, our congregation participates in the Red Ribbon Ride and it’s one of the highlights of our summer. AGC MCC is proud to support The Red Ribbon Ride. The Red Ribbon Ride supports eight local HIV/AIDS support agencies including the Minnesota AIDS Project, Clare Housing, Hope House of St. Croix Valley, African American AIDS Task Force, and the Aliveness Project. If you are interested please contact Steven Ahola.

Recovery

AGC lends its space to several recovery-based groups. Our spiritual community believes in fostering growth and personal development and supporting Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) groups within the Twin Cities is our way of reaching out to the recovery community.
