This Lent, All God’s Children MCC is proud to provide you with an entire checkerboard of potential interactive activities, each designed to inspire you to grow in your spiritual practice and relationship with the Divine, and to help you engage and embrace the transformative season of Lent in a creative way! There are four categories of Lent Devotional activities, each of which is listed below.
Each Listen and Engage activity invites you to listen to a “popular” song, and then consider how the song lyrics calls upon you to engage with others. How can each song inspire your spiritual practice in ways that help you make a difference in our world? How is God empowering and inviting you to engage in this work?
Each Action and Reflection activity is designed to help you spend a little time each day working alongside God.
Each Listen, Learn, and Grow activity invites you to watch a short story time video, and then reflect on how it’s meaning can be interpreted through your spiritual practice and through the lens of the Lent season.
Each Scripture and Imagining activity begins with an excerpt from a Sacred Text. After reading the Sacred Text, you will be invited to imagine a potential world impacted by that text. How is God empowering and engaging you to work toward bringing this kind of world into being?
