“I will bless you, and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.” - Genesis 12:2
This is Our Story
Before there was Gay Pride, OutFront Minnesota, Minnesota AIDS Project, Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus, and the welcoming/affirming church movement there was a congregation of GLBTQ people worshipping together. This group later would be called All God’s Children MCC. In 1974 this small group of college students and adults got together to form the beginnings of this church for GLBTQ people. This was a pivotal moment in history because this was the first time that a church would be organized in Minnesota to give voice to the truths of those who found themselves part of a sexual minority.
Today that small worshipping group has grown into the largest GLBTQ congregation in the upper Midwest and one of the top 15 largest congregations of Metropolitan Community Churches (MCC). Our very existence and ministry presents a challenge to those who claim that Christianity and GLBTQ people are mutually exclusive. Our voice must continue to be heard for generations to come. That is why we initiated the "Blessed and Blessings Others" appeal. To learn more about "Blessed and Blessing Others" and how you can be a part of the future of All God's Children, click here.
The people who make up All God's Children come from a wide variety of backgrounds and faith experiences. Our stories are remarkable and poignant for they reveal the depth of God's grace to reach out to us and draw us close to God's heart. Here are some of the stories of our people:

Update on Progress towards Goal
On May 20, 2007 the congregation of All God's Children gathered in worship and in preparation to offer pledges and offerings toward the Blessed and Blessing Others campaign. That Sunday morning following the sermon, congregants rose en masse to bring forward to the altar their gifts and commitments to the campaign. Once we received all the pledges and offerings for the day, we dedicated these resources to the work of God among us. Of the $500,000 goal set for the campaign, we have received offerings and pledges for the next three years surpassing $392,000 (as of June 3, 2007) . We are well on our way to completing this important campaign. There is still time to add your voice and gift to this work. We'll even make it easy for you to make an online contribution.click here.
More amazing things await us as God leads this congregation forward--stepping out in faith in ways of which we never dreamed we were capable. God has met us every step of the way and for that we give thanks!
