Worship 2.0 @ 10:00 AM (Beginning August 15, 2010)

Sunday morning worship is the largest gathering time for our congregation. Because our congregation comes from a wide diversity of backgrounds and religious traditions, our Sunday worship reflects this diversity in style, music, and liturgy. Holy Communion is offered every Sunday. All are welcome to receive at our table. Worship at All God's Children centers on putting our hearts and spirits in tune with the presence of God. On any given Sunday you will experience dynamic music, a powerful sermon that speaks to contemporary issues, real life stories from congregants about how God has changed their lives and meditative moments to quiet one's mind on the amazing grace we receive from God. Many first-time visitors tell us that the worship service is so powerful that they are often brought to tears of joy. For many, it is the first time in a long time that they have felt they belong once again in the family of God.

If you enjoy a broad range of music, then Worship 2.0 is for you. You'll hear just about everything including classical, praise/worship, gospel, Christian rock, and old-time favorite hymns. We have a great Praise Team and talented choir. Our band is the best around. Because our congregation comes from so many church backgrounds, we try to take some of the best parts of our many traditions to include occasionally in worship.

Other special events that sometimes happen on Sunday morning worship include baptisms, confirmation of new members, dedication of new leaders, Drama Team skits, recognition of special mile-stones in people's lives and testimonials. Every Sunday is unique, different and powerful.

Every worship service is signed by a skilled ASL interpreter for the hearing impaired. We also use a large screen to project the music and liturgy along with the printed worship bulletin. Worship lasts about an hour most Sundays.

Dress ranges from dressy to casual. You will see suits, ties and dresses as well as khakis and casual wear.

We offer child care in our nursery for infants/toddlers during worship. During the school year, we offer Sunday School for older children during worship service as well.
