On Wednesday nights at All God's Children we have a high-energy praise and worship style service. You probably noticed that the start time is odd. That should give you a hint that this worship experience will not be traditional in any sense of the word.
The service is primarily musical with scripture, prayer, and inspirational thoughts interspersed into the canopy of the service. Most of the music used has been written within the last ten years but we also throw in some old favorites that have been re-vamped with a contemporary rhythm and style.
The service is led by a band and praise team. The words to the songs are projected on a large screen so that one doesn't have to be concerned with printed bulletins, hymn books, or other documents. You can simply allow yourself to soar in God's Spirit as the rhythm of the music caresses and moves you. If you like worship loud, energetic, up-beat, with lots of clapping, then Wednesday night Spirit worship is for you.
Dress is usually casual. Most come in slacks, jeans, and comfortable shirts. Worship lasts until 8 PM.
