Ministries : Local Outreach Team

This ministry coordinates all the outreach activities taking place in our neighborhood and community. The team researches and selects the monthly Do Unto Others (DUO) recipient, makes contact with organizations and presents the donation on behalf of the congregation. In addition, this ministry organizes community services events.
 

Mission

Reaching beyond our walls to serve others in a Christ-like manner to bring aid, hope and comfort to those in need. The activities of the team are intended to serve the neighborhood surrounding the church, the GLBT community and the general community.

Goals

  • Select community organizations to receive proceeds from weekly DUO Fund
  • Mentor new leadership for the Local Outreach Team
  • Organize AGC participation in Red Ribbon Ride
  • Organize a neighborhood project
