Pride Worship Celebration 2020

Join All God’s Children every Sunday in June to Celebrate Pride month. Experience how God’s love is all inclusive and discover spiritual insights gifted to the community by our beloved Pastor, Rev. Dr. DeWayne Davis. Check out the schedule below and join us Live on Facebook and YouTube. Love is love.

The Worth of All Creation | Sunday, June 7, 2020

Our God is a relational God, committed and faithful to all of creation, infusing all there is with the divine essence. What God has created is good and wondrous and testifies to God’s beauty and generosity. We, in turn, are good and wondrous, blessed bearers of divine image, people of worth and dignity. Join us as we learn from Psalm 8.

Hope Never Dies | Sunday, June 14, 2020

We are saved by faith, not by how hard we strive for salvation nor by standards of purity or perfection. We have suffered, endured, and realized dreams that many thought impossible. We, too, lay claim to Christ’s challenge to the darkness of the cross and embrace the abundant life resurrection brings. Our hope has not been disappointed. Join us as we learn from Romans 5:1-8.

Tell the Truth and Live | Sunday, June 21, 2020

Secrecy and closets were the ways we coped with stigma and rejection. Too many times we have forfeited our gifts and our callings because we assumed we were unworthy. Jesus is not ashamed of us and claims us. So we do not live in shame. We tell the truth about who we are as God’s beloved and break the chains of silence, denial, and secrecy. Join us as we learn from Matthew 10:26-39.

A Wider Welcome | Sunday, June 28, 2020

Too often we assume that we understand radical hospitality. It can be difficult to embrace both the hospitality we are willing to offer and the hospitality that disrupts our own comfort. Sometimes we assume that we have done all we can to include and serve others. Perhaps our standard of inclusion and radical hospitality should go beyond what we are comfortable providing. What would it look like if Jesus’ widest welcome becomes our standard for radical hospitality? How much more inclusive and generous would we be? Join us as we learn from Matthew 10:40-42.
