Brian Cihacek is the Director of Outreach at All God’s Children MCC in Minneapolis, MN. Prior to coming to All God’s Children, Brian has a wide variety of outreach experience including working in field organizing for political campaigns, serving as a residential hall chaplain at the University of Saint Thomas, working as a community teams liaison with the Minneapolis American Heart Association affiliate, working as a marketing intern at the Jungle Theater and studying male spirituality and social norms at Saint John’s University.
Brian has also served with the Minnesota National Guard since 2001. He deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2005-2007 to Camp Shelby, MS, Fort Polk, LA and Al Taqaddum Airbase, Iraq with HHC 2/136 Infantry Battalion. In his work as a unit supply specialist, Brian assisted in managing an inventory valued at over $100 million. He also managed ordering, receiving, and storing of ammunition, clothing and equipment for over 200 soldiers, lead teams of soldiers in defense of his base and assisted in getting his entire unit’s equipment from the states to Iraq and back. Brian now serves in an aviation unit assisting in flight management.
Brian received his BA from Saint John’s University in 2008 and a Graduate Diploma in Theology from Saint John’s University in 2008. He continued theological study from 2008-2010 at Saint John’s University and the University of Saint Thomas.
